Gran Fondo PEI will be back for its 11th year! Mark your calendar for August 23 - 25, 2024 and take part in this year's Gran Fondo PEI.
Gran Fondo PEI is a three-day cycling event cruising through the beautiful vistas of Prince Edward Island, Canada. This iconic cycling event is designed for both recreational and enthusiastic cyclists who are looking for an epic weekend of riding, food, and comraderie.
Our carefully selected cycling routes are filled with idyllic views, iconic rolling hills, and coastal cliffs. This is truly a must-ride event for cycling fanatics.
Only have time for one day of riding? There is something for everyone at this year's Gran Fondo. Join us on Saturday, August 24, where you can choose from riding in the Gran Fondo (~150 km) or the Medio Fondo (~101 km).

Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. The Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years. We honour the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which recognized Mi’kmaq rights and established an ongoing relationship between nations. We are all Treaty People.

Gran Fondo PEI is happy to offer multiple guided routes ranging from 30 - 90 km along with multiple pace groups for both the Friday and Sunday rides.
Post-Ride Celebration
The best part about riding a bike in a group is the friends you make along the way!
Saturday's Gran Fondo Banquet is a time to celebrate the massive accomplishment of riding the Gran or Medio Fondo. This celebration is well deserved! A delicious feast of local seafood and maritime fare in a room full of new friends is in order.

Friday and Sunday.
